IIF goes independent

Investors in Families will operate as an independent provider, having decided not to renew the collaborative agreement with the Wales Centre for Equity in Education (WCEE).

“While there is a very close fit between the philosophy of IIF and WCEE, IIF is keen to expand into other areas, including the Secure Estate and other sectors. In addition to taking IIF across Wales in the last two years, IIF has adapted the quality mark for the Secure Estate, which will involve working with prisons across the United Kingdom and Europe. There is also a growing demand for IIF in a variety of settings in England.”

IIF Wales was launched at a reception at the Royal Hotel in Cardiff on Monday 14th March 2016. Schools, partner organisations and other supporters of IIF gathered to discuss how IIF would work in the future.
